WineEd will train its 1,000th student of the year (most recent 12 month period) this week. The news comes as the company marks the first anniversary of its own accredited wine & wine service qualification – the Level two Certificate in Wine and Wine Service.
Over the past two years WineEd has launched four original accredited qualifications in wine & wine service delivered online with the support of expert instructor-led tuition. In that time WineEd has trained well over 1,500 students and has passed 200 enrolments in its flagship Level 2 Certificate qualification.
Founder Miles MacInnes commented “It is extremely rewarding to see the difference our training has made for hospitality employers and professionals, the industry is crying out for wine training that inspires & rewards students as well as delivering a return on investment for employers. Our company is still in its infancy and we will see further strong growth over the coming year.”
Alongside WineEd’s online qualifications the company’s strong team of consultants deliver in-person training on for hospitality businesses in all elements of wine and wine service. Training Manager Leona de Pasquale said “our consultant team includes wine experts with a broad experience in hospitality and the wine trade, we are able to meet the training and development needs of any hospitality professional even if our focus is on the much neglected grass roots of the industry for whom existing training is prohibitively expensive and/or not fit for purpose.”
